We are a team of ordinary
folk with extraordinary dreams. We
laughingly call ourselves the “Crystal Visionaries” and truly consider our
work with the wands and other products as part of our spiritual service.
We believe that a vital spiritual life is important for a balanced,
healthy lifestyle, and the products we produce or distribute contribute to this
intention.
The current team has been
involved with magic wands since early 1999, when Karen and Lynn purchased Crystal
Visions Wands and Jewelry from Victoria (Aja) Hall, who had been making
wands under this name since 1986. For
many years, the only place to purchase one of the wands was at a retail store,
but since 2001 we have made them available through our website. In the spring of
2002, Karen and Lynn licensed the right to produce Art and Soul’s Inner-
Self Manifestation Bowls, so our group of products is growing.
A team of artisans
skillfully crafts each of our products by hand, infusing love and good energy
into each item. Some of us live in rural SW Colorado, where our business offices
are located and all the work converges, but others of us live in various places
around the country.
For the wands, we use only
the best materials, beginning with superb natural clear quartz crystals from
certain mines in Arkansas, and also with large amethyst points, hand selected
for us in Brazil. Our designs are
original, and each style is named and comes with a descriptive card.
Most of the larger wands are
made by our Wandmaster, Mary Lou, located here in the Cortez area.
The mini and small wand pendants are made by LeAnn of Sedona, Arizona.
Our wand makers' attention to detail translates to stunning finished
pieces. Besides the regular production work, our wand makers come up with new
designs as needed, and each one has a distinctive style.
The “Inner-Self
Manifestation Bowls” are created from
scratch and intricately finished right here in good old Montezuma County,
Colorado.
The
rest of the team handles the usual business duties, albeit from a spiritually-centered
place. Business partners Karen and Lynn do the marketing and financial parts of
the business, Shelleah ships and packages everything, as well as doing most of
whatever else needs doing around here. Jim S., one of our beloved partners
in creativity and spirit, was of great value to our enterprise in the last few
years, and his recent passing has left a void in our little family.
He will be missed forever, even as he is with us always. Others, friends
and family and the occasional unexpected house guest fill in where they are
needed. James W. Osborne, Jr.,
who lives and works in Missouri, is our Webmaster, and his partner Kate is
currently apprenticing in the creation of our beautiful
wands.
